Legal
Terms of Use
These terms apply when you access or use StudentIn.
Using StudentIn
You must use the platform lawfully and provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge. You may not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, impersonate another person, scrape it without permission or submit fraudulent, harmful or misleading content.
Listings and accommodation agreements
StudentIn is a discovery and communication platform. Unless expressly stated otherwise, we do not own, operate or lease listed accommodation and are not a party to agreements between students and providers.
Providers are responsible for listing accuracy, availability, pricing, accreditation claims and compliance with applicable law. Students are responsible for checking a property, provider, payment request and agreement before committing.
Enquiries are not bookings
A shortlist or enquiry does not guarantee availability, acceptance, funding approval or a tenancy. A booking exists only when the student and accommodation provider complete their required agreement and payment process.
Accounts and content
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access details secure. You retain ownership of content you submit, but give StudentIn permission to host, display and process it as needed to operate and improve the service.
We may remove content or restrict access when reasonably necessary to address misuse, safety, legal requirements or violations of these terms.
Availability and liability
The platform is provided on an “as available” basis and may change as the startup develops. To the extent permitted by law, StudentIn is not responsible for independent providers, off-platform payments, accommodation conditions or indirect losses. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
